Grooming Woolies
There are three types of coats that a Siberian Husky or an Alaskan Malamute could be, standard, long or wooly.
A true wooly has very long hair all the way down to their feet. Woolies have very long hair all over their body.
The dog pictured here is my Alaskan Malamute, her name is Holly, and she is a wooly.
I have made this page in an attempt to gather as much info that I can on the subject of grooming these very special dogs because there is so little on the subject.
The little info that I was able to find just emphasized how difficult it is to groom them and how important it is to groom them.
If you have a wooly you already know that and if you have one like Holly who does not like to get groomed you surely know that it is the ultimate challenge!
As I find information or discover on my own any helpful information on the grooming of woolies, I will add it to this page.
